Angelina Jolie is thought to be looking at villas in Portugal. There is speculation that Brad Pitt, Jolie's partner, may not join her if she buys a home in Portugal.

Jolie, who rose to fame as Lara Croft in the Tomb Raider films, is looking at Algarve villas, according to showbizspy.com. Ideally, the actress would like a beachfront property, where she can bring up her six children.

"She loves Portugal and wants to raise her kids there," said a source. "She's looking in a quaint village called Lagos [and] she wants to move there ASAP."

There are doubts that Pitt, who has three biological children with Jolie, will join her in Portugal. "Every day is a new day with them," the source added. "I must confess things have been hard for them the past few months."

The Portugal villa is the latest in a series of reported new homes for the couple, dubbed Brangelina by the media. Earlier this year they were said to be renting a home on New York's Long Island.
