Set on a 21-hectare site, overlooking the ocean, interior designer Didier Gomez has redesigned the Resort to maximise guests’ comfort and relaxation.  

The €10m refurbishment means that the Resort now boasts a newly designed art-deco style restaurant, five new luxury family suites, 188 refurbished rooms and spacious public areas which are themed around tranquillity and relaxation.

Club Med Da Balaia also offers a luxury spa which offers a range of Eastern and Western inspired wellbeing packages. Newly resigned – Art Deco style restaurant with views of the ocean

With its large bay windows and three new terraces that look out over the ocean, this Art Deco style restaurant allows guests to enjoy spectacular views whilst dining. The space has been completely redesigned to create a variety of ambiences, whether a romantic dinner for two or a fun-filled occasion with family and friends, the restaurant caters for all needs.

Newly refurbished rooms and new suites – ideal for families

Renowned Portuguese architect Francisco de Conceicao Silva has created five new luxury suites at Da Balaia which are ideal for families and groups of friends.  Additionally, the Resort offers 188 redesigned rooms in the Tour and Pyramid areas of the Resort.  These comfortable rooms have been refurbished in keeping with their original architecture. Families also continue to be well catered for with the golf area offering a total of 54 interconnecting rooms. Club Med Da Balaia offers parents extensive children’s facilities including Baby Club Med® for children from ages 4 to 23 months and Petit Club Med® for youngsters aged 2 and 3.
