Team captain Jack Owens from Bangor, will be joined by Ross Oliver from Carrickfergus, Paul Doherty from Donegal, Aaron Kearney from Limavady and Adam Leslie from Ballyclare, at the four-day event which begins on Wednesday.
They will compete over 72 holes against the best young golfing talent from universities in Portugal, Spain, Germany and Slovenia at the Pestana Golf Resort.
Ulster’s team qualified for the event after winning the ICGA Golf Intervarsities Championships back in October following an impressive display at the Heritage Golf Resort in Co Kildare.
Team manager and Sports Development Officer at Ulster’s Coleraine campus, Keith Thompson, said: “This will be a great test for our golf scholars who have had a great season winning three titles along the way including ICGA League Championship, ICGA Golf Intervarsities Championship and the BUSA Home Nations.”
