A great 2.5 hour circular walk along cliff tops and through countryside where we should see spring flowers staring to appear

10.30am start - meet at O Litoral restaurant/cafe above Benagil. If travelling along the EN125 from Lagoa towards Faro turn right immediately after the International School (3km from Lagoa). Follow the signs for Benagil and just before the road bends left to drop down the hill the restaurant is on the right

Let's Walk from Pincho

Saturday February 6th

A very easy 2 hour walk with only one short climb through totally unspoilt countryside - not to be missed this is just a beautiful walk.

1.30pm start meet at the cafe/restaurant in Pincho. Take the A22 westwards until it ends and then follow the road towards Aljezur. 5km along this road turn right signed Pincho and follow the road for about 4km when you come to the hamlet where parking and the cafe are on the left just as you enter the hamlet

There is no need to book, please just come along wearing comfortable shoes (trainers will be fine), bring some water and a sense of humour (very important). There is a charge of 5 euro for each walk.

St. Patrick’s Society

The St. Patrick’s Society January walk on Saturday 30th will take in part of the Barragem Arade. It will be of about two hours duration, not difficult, but sensible walking footware should be worn.

The meeting point is the Cafe Rainha, for a 10:30am prompt start. Go earlier if you want to have a coffee.

Directions:-

If travelling from Messines, take the EN124 towards Silves, and after 11kms turn right at the sign for Barragem do Arade. After a further 1km Cafe Rainha is on the left.

If travelling from Silves, go past Lidl on your left and from the next roundabout take the EN124 towards Messines. After 6kms turn left for the Barragem do Arade, and then 1km more for Cafe Rainha.

All are welcome! Lunch will be available after the walk.
