The full schedule of the Algarve's popular events programme 'ALLGARVE' has been released for 2010. It includes a celebration of jazz, pop, art, sport and food. The full events calendar has three extra months of events compared to 2009 and feature names such as Diana Krall and Anastasia. The full line-up is available here but see below for some highlights: 

ALLGARVE JAZZ 

July 24th: Diana Krall at the Monumento Eng.º Duarte Pacheco in Lagos. The multi-Grammy award winning and internationally renowned jazz pianist and singer Diana Krall will return to Portugal to perform after the success of her recent album "Quiet Nights". 

September 4th: Jean-Luc Ponty at Silves Castle. Considered the best jazz violinist in the world today, the jazz-rock extraordinaire Jean-Luc Ponty brings his reputation as the best jazz violinist in the world to the Algarve. 

ALLGARVE CLASSIC 

10th - 11th July: Cosi fan Tutte, Paulo Matos and the Algarve Orchestra perform Mozart at Silves Castle. 

ALLGARVE POP 

August 7th: Colbie Caillat at the Monumento Eng.º Duarte Pacheco in Lagos. The singer behind the best-selling digital track of all time, Colbie Caillat brings her breakthrough love-pop sound to the Algarve. 

August 17th: Anastasia performs at the CS Herdade dos Salgados in Albufeira. Known as 'the little lady with the big voice,' Anastasia will perform her combination of soul, rock and pop at the CS Herdade dos Salgados in Albufeira this summer. 

ALLGARVE ART 

July 2nd - October 2nd: Pancho Guedes The Voice of the Sea in the Fortaleza de Sagres. An installation by the architect Pancho Guedes where the sea is literally felt underfoot! 

ALLGARVE GASTRONOMY 

July 16th - 24th: Allgarve Gourmet debuts at the Portimão Museum in Portimao. Authentic dishes of the Algarve will be recreated by renowned chefs in a new venue watered by the best wines. 

September 1st - 5th: The Cataplana Experience in Vilamoura Marina and Loulé. The Cataplana Experience returns for the second year in a row, encouraging participants to join in cooking classes taught by the finest chefs working in Portugal. 

ALLGARVE SPORT 

May 27th - 30th: WRC Vodafone Rally of Portugal. The Vodafone Rally of Portugal attracts the world of sports best riders. The racing has been considered five times for the "Best Rally of the World" and in 2000 received the accolade of "Best Rally of the Year" 

October 14th - 17th: The Portugal Masters is played at the Oceanico Victoria Golf Club in Vilamoura. The heavy-weights of the golfing world will converge on Portugal to compete in the Portugal Masters. This year the prize money is an attractive three million Euros and will be played on a course designed by legendary golfer Arnold Palmer at the Oceanico Victoria Golf Club.
