Children aged 5 to 13 from these two distinguished institutions, along with any other schools able to participate, will be showcasing their students’ environmental friendliness to thousands of visitors during the last weekend of May.
The entries will be seen at a special display area for the Challenge entries.
Participants entries will be posters or models focussing on concrete actions such as renewable energy, the introduction of energy-saving light bulbs at home and school, sharing vehicles, using public transport, planting trees, to name but some of the themes.
Children can only enter The Green Challenge if their school has agreed to take a free stand on offer to participating schools at the Fair.
